Important Blog Announcement

I've already made my blog a Terri Shiavo and Michael Jackson Free Zone. I've felt it necessary to add another name to the list.

Sorry about the shitty Photoshop job there. I don't know how to make a straight diagonal line in Photoshop.

If you are sick of all the blather about Katie and Tom and Scientology, feel free to hang out in my Tom Cruise Free Zone royal domain. Help yourself to the caviar, turkey legs, trifle, and royal bar, but please don't drink all my absinthe.

Yay! Finally! It's much appreciated.

ha! you think your mere photoshop charms are going to protect you from The Tom? i think not! he's got Scientology rays! & Scientology ... ummm... beams!

thus far only Scarlett J has escaped! & who knows what kind of paranormal abilities that girl possesses...

seriously, though, i wish you luck in resisting the fucker. call me crazy, but i think The Tom means business this time around & won't be satisfied until each & every one of us is under his sway.

ok, i'm crazy.

but it doesn't mean i'm not right!!!

What about Katie Holmes? Can we talk (and you post) about JUST her?

Posted by: MNPundit at Jul 6, 2005 11:28:42 PM

I can't get enough of Tom Cruise myself; but I did want to concur that it is baffingly difficult to draw a straight line in Photoshop. I guess they assumed their customers wouldn't really want to do that.

Jam, The Tom and his x-ray eyes cannot defeat The Countess!! I dated a Scientologist in college. Those people are loony - and broke. Those auditing sessions are expensive!! They gave me a brief, freebie audit, and traced me back to a "past life" where I was a little girl from about 1910 on a swing. I wore a pinafore and I had curly blonde hair. I wondered if that image could have just come from a book or a movie? The auditing session was fun, but silly, in my opinion. They knew I was a skeptic, but I was a good sport about it. The people were nice, but wacky.

Oh, no, MNPundit, are you a Katie Holmes fan? I saw a couple of episodes of "Dawson's Creek" years ago. I couldn't get into it. I always thought Katie Holmes looked a bit like Natalie Wood. If you want, you can post talk about Katie Holmes as long as you don't fog up my computer screen. ;)

Ack! I just broke my own Tom Cruise Free Zone rule! No more talk from The Countess about Scientology. I don't want any heads to explode like in "Scanners." Now, those were supernatural rays!!

Bryant, I can draw a straight line in Photoshop, but I couldn't figure out which command(s) was/were for a diagonal. I used to know it, but I can't remember how to do it. The box around The Tom was easy to make. I just used the square marquee and then clicked on "inverse." Then, I filled in with the red color at 100% with the paint bucket. I can't make a straight diagonal line to save my life. I think I have to use the line tool, but I can't remember how, and I don't know what happened to my Photoshop book.

For Photoshop straight lines: Select the pen tool, then click on the first point. Hold down the shift key and click on the second point.

Scarlett J reportedly likes her men much older, so maybe that made her a candidate for the job of fiance?

Thanks for the Photoshop tip, Ron. I'll definitely make use of it. You've solved a big problem for me.

I don't know much about Scarlett Johansson. I'm not even sure what she looks like. I'm still stuck on Elizabeth Taylor, Helen Mirren, and Catherine Deneuve. I'm not very familiar with the newer actresses.
