Morgaine's "How To Talk To A Christian" Series

Interesting reading. For some reason all four parts are available at this one link. The fourth is at the top, and the first is at the bottom.

Although my relationship to Christianity is a little ambiguous at times, I do agree that the right wing has been all too eager to bury the progressive christian tradition, which I believe is closer to the ministry and teachings of Jesus than a lot of what the blowdried rightwingers spout.

I get the soujourner's newsletter via email, and although I don't agree with Jim Wallis on everything (abortion for one), I do think he get's it right on christianity and its message of social justice and the poor.

Here's the link to the first chapter of Wallis's book, now on NYT bestseller list.

I just can't afford to talk to them right now Trish. I can't afford a lawyer and don't trust myself. For now, let the cooler calmer heads prevail.
