Man Candy Tuesday #5 Plus I'm At Whipped Cream Today And Tomorrow!

It's that time again - Man Candy Tuesday! In honor of the hot men who appear every Monday on "Hawaii Five-0", I've dedicated Tuesdays to the most mouth-watering man candy out there. Enjoy!

Look for me today at Whipped Cream Reviews, where I was interviewed. Tomorrow I'll be at the Whipped Cream Yahoo group all day to hang out and chat with you. Please drop by and keep me company, and read the interview. It's very good.

I read an article saying that 75% of women fantasize about their men dressed as firemen. I'm not into firemen myself, but I know lots of women who are. Here are some sexy firemen, just for your viewing pleasure. Time to burn up my blog!

Please check out my interview and head for Whipped Cream tomorrow to hang out with me. And definitely make sure you never miss Man Candy Tuesday!

I totally agree with you about the hotness that is to be found on Hawaii 5-0. Besides being beautiful, the shows are often inspirational. I talk about Steve McGarrett on my blog today - he's my exception to the rule that even heroes need flaws. I have yet to find one on him, and I don't even care lol!

I'm not all that into firemen, per se, so I guess I'm in the 25%, but these pics are really hot. I love the one with the baby best - that combination of sexiness with vulnerability. The baby is just too adorable for words!

Hmm, what do I fantasize my men as? Vampires, I think. Guess that makes me weird lol

Thanks for sharing! :)

My favorite man on "Hawaii Five-0" is Chin (Daniel Dae Kim). He's just gorgeous. He's about to be usurped by Wo Fat (Mark Dacascos). I definitely like McGarrett. I've liked Alex O'Loughlin since "Moonlight", speaking of vampires. ;)

I don't get into firemen either. My favorite sexy men? Scientists! I love the brains, and the lab coats are so sexy. :D

I'm curious for anyone who wants to come out of lurker status: what do you fantasize when it comes to men? What professions if any?

I find the term 'Man Candy' to be offensive, belittling and vulgar. If men referred to women as 'Girl or Woman Candy' there'd be cries of sexism and exploitation. Seems women can view men as nothing more than sex objects to be drooled over, but men have to toe the PC line. Hypocrisy, don't you think? It particularly gets on my nerves when straight female authors use gay men as toys to be manipulated in their sex fantasies. They have no real care for gay rights, they just want cheap thrills.

You're entitled to your opinion. There's nothing wrong with straight women admiring male bodies, and judging from the hits I've been getting on my Man Candy Tuesday series, it's very popular with straight women. I've even considered starting a Cheesecake Thursday series since several straight men have asked (they said they felt left out). I don't think it's a double standard at all. I think it levels out the playing field. What's good for the gander is good for the goose. Turns out some straight women are just as turned on at the idea of being in the middle of a m/m scenario as straight men are turned on by being in the middle of a f/f scenario. It's a fantasy. And you have no way of knowing that some of these straight women have "no real care for gay rights". You're making assumptions and being rather hypocritical yourself.

Love the one with the baby. How come our firefighters don't look like that? I'm pretty sure the last time I saw some around town, they were definitely not eye-candy. Not fair. Bet these guys have lots of "fires" to put out!

That's my favorite picture too, Shannon. He looks so tender. I think that's the appeal.

It being 'very popular' with straight women does not make it right. Admiring male bodies is one thing, pimping and prostituting them as female masturbation material is another. You, countess (how pretentious) are the HYPOCRITE! You're vulgar, slavering over men like a bitch in heat with no finer feeling. What's good for the gander is good for the goose! God, how unintelligent!

Wow, you really don't get it, V. L. You also aren't a regular reader of my blog. Otherwise you'd know the history of my name "The Countess", and where I'm coming from with my writings. The name calling shows just how out of touch you really are with erotic romances written for women, whether those women are gay or straight. The same applies to posting pictures like the ones I've posted. You're now officially on ignore.

Posted by: The Countess at Feb 8, 2011 6:55:43 PM

Okay, you're not on ignore quite yet. I might not ignore you after all. I usually don't ignore people.

I have more to say. The men in those photos are clearly not real firemen. They're male models who have posed for those shots of their own free will, and they know their bodies will be admired by both men and women. That's the purpose of those shots. So if they were intended for only gay men that would be okay with you? Straight women aren't allowed to admire and react? I recently read two interviews of male romance cover models who have no problem with their photos appearing in a titilating manner on these books. What would you say about the numerous gay male authors who write m/m erotica and erotic romance, knowing that their target audiences are straight women? Are all of these men hypocrites, too? I don't think so. You're free to disagree.
