Dammit, I Wanted To Be A Prion
I saw this quiz at Science and Politics (Coturnix), and I couldn't resist. Me and these danged quizzes.
I don't think a prion is a molecule, though. I know it's a protein. I don't know much more about it, other than it causes Mad Cow disease, Kreutzfeldt-Jacob (sp?) disease, and Scrapie. I'd love to be able to turn my troll's brains into Swiss cheese.

Why doesn't that quiz allow "show all possible results". I am curious whichother molecules they included - ATP, RNA, hemoglobin, some neurotransmitters, hormones? I soooooo wanted to be testosterone (LOL).

I think the quizzes used to show all possible results, but they don't anymore. I wanted to see what else I could have been, too. Testosterone? LOL I bet. ;)

Apparently I am DNA. I'm smart and I appear terribly complicated to those who don't know me very well. I am also a fountain of useless information. (That part's definitely true.)
