Belated Friday Cat Blogging

WARNING!!!!! Cute Kitten Alert!!!

Here is a picture of Oreo and Lucky when Lucky was a newborn. He has grown into a very healthy and active kitty. He spent the entire morning following The Count and I around, begging us to play ball with him. I swear he never tires out. Well, yes he does. He's asleep on the bedroom floor right now, on top of some of The Count's clothes that fell off the bed. Being an active kitten does tire him out.

Is Oreo Lucky's mother? or father? Just curious.

What beautiful cats!

Lucky is so teeny weeny. I love seeing them when they are babies till they grew up.

Oreo is the mom, and the post is actually incorrect, that's Domino as an infant kitten. She was Oreo's first and was a litter of one. Domino has bicolored eyes! I guess she got all the genetic material.

Ack, you're right. I wondered after I posted why Lucky had so much white fur. Yes, that's Domino. I have baby pictures of Lucky, and I'll post them for next week's Cat Blogging.

Oh I missed that little cutie sitting right under his mother.

I must be going blind...

Oreo is Lucky's and Domino's mother. They have different fathers. I haven't seen Domino's daddy outside for a long time. I think the family moved. Lucky's daddy shows up sometimes, but I suspect he's home sitting in front of a warm hearth. It's cold outside. The Daddycats are too well-fed and healthy-looking to be strays.

Now that Oreo has been spayed, she's not popular with the boys anymore. I did see her and Daddycat sitting outside in the garden together over the summer after I had her spayed, so I guess they stayed friends. Oreo is now retired. She spends all her time on my lap or in her new favorite box next to my rocking chair. And she loves chicken. ;)
